This webpage is made possible by support from The Jewish Chautauqua Society Here is a place where high school and college students are invited to explore their religious questions. We have our own hopes and fears, doubts and struggles, dreams and frustrations-and we want to see how our different religious traditions both illuminate and obscure our particular journeys. To focus our thoughts and to clarify our feelings, we will post some biblical stories, some questions, and some initial responses. You are invited to jump into the conversation. You dont have to be an expert. You dont have to be a card-carrying member of a church, synagogue, or mosque. You do need to show respect for those who see the world differently. This is not a forum in which your job is to proselytize or to prove that someone else is living in error. Those who break these simple guidelines and fall into incivility will be removed from the dialogue. We will alert students in other parts of the world about this site, and we hope that you enjoy and learn a lot about the different ways we read the world in the light of our sacred stories. We will regularly add new material to this site. So stay in touch. The Stories "Blessed Deception?" Forgiveness and Reconciliation: An Impossible Necessity?
