For three years the Institute for Christian and Jewish Studies sponsored the Maryland Interfaith Project(MIP). The overarching goal of the MIP was to identify and examine those fundamental theological issues that contributed to the tragic history that has for so long polarized Christians and Jews. Of the eleven denominationally organized Christian groups which were part of the project, one of them, the Episcopalian Bishop's Advisory Committee on Christian-Jewish Relations, produced a document in question and answer format which explained certain key points in Jewish-Christian relations. That document is republished on this web site. The Rabbi, 1974

Frequently Asked Questions
in Christian-Jewish Dialogue
This FAQ gives an excellent account of the issues which are likely to occur to Christians when approaching interfaith dialogue. However, a different set of questions are likely to concern Jews. We would like users of this web site to help us construct a FAQ on interfaith dialogue from a Jewish perspective. If you would email us with your questions, we will keep a log. We will then submit the most frequent questions to our board of Jewish scholars and create a document to fill this gap. Thank you very much.
